SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK

Come enjoy the stirring words and universal stories of Shakespeare set on a stage nestled in the woods and surrounded by stunning views of Lake Champlain. Our company of professional actors brings Shakespeare to life with intelligence, wit and power-packed action.

Shakespeare in the Park takes place every summer in The Champlain Islands, and plans are in development to bring outdoor Shakespeare to Burlington and other areas of Vermont. Check back for all the exciting details as they develop!

PICNICKING
Doors open one hour before performance time.  Come early and picnic on the lawn adjacent to the performance space!  Some picnic tables available.

Interested in ordering a gourmet picnic? Contact:
The Sandwich Garden www.vtsandwichgarden.com 802-372-9769

Your picnic will be available for pick up on-site one hour before show time.   Please keep in mind that we must start the show on schedule, so we encourage you to allow yourself adequate time to enjoy your picnic before the show begins.

SEATING
There is bleacher seating for the performances.  We do have some bleachers with backs on them and a limited number of chairs available for our older patrons.  Please feel free to bring a stadium sheet or seat cushion!  We do not have room for lawn chairs in the performance area.

Feel free to bring lawn chairs for picnicking before the show.  You can leave them in the picnic area and pick them up after the show.

PARKING
There is a large parking lot at Knight Point State Park.  The entrance to the park is on Route 2.  Parking is free.

You can walk to the performance area from the main parking lot.  Patrons with limited mobility may be dropped off right at the performance site.  Accessible parking is available adjacent to the performance site.
