Come enjoy the stirring words and universal stories of Shakespeare set on a stage nestled in the woods and surrounded by stunning views of Lake Champlain. Our company of professional actors brings Shakespeare to life with intelligence, wit and power-packed action.
Shakespeare in the Park takes place every summer in The Champlain Islands, and plans are in development to bring outdoor Shakespeare to Burlington and other areas of Vermont. Check back for all the exciting details as they develop!
Summer 2009 Update:
We are producing a baby this summer instead of Shakespeare in the Park!
Artistic Director Jena Necrason and Executive Director John Nagle are expecting a baby in August 2009!
Alas, our summer 2009 season will be postponed until August 2010. Please join us in August 2010 for a witty and fiery production of MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING.
