Tracy Liz Miller
Tracy is proud to be joining long-time friends John and Jena and the talented company of Vermont Shakespeare Company. Originally from Northern Michigan, Tracy graduated from Alabama Shakespeare Festival/University of Alabama with an MFA in Acting. She has expanded her education to include arts management through the University of Mass/Amherst as well as interned with the venerable Women's Project in NYC in marketing and communications. In NYC she adapted, directed, and produced a nine-actor Titus Andronicus (Shakespeare). Last summer she directed Italian American Reconciliation by John Patrick Shanley with 33 Productions (NYC) and is also a founding member of Improbable Fiction Theatre Company (NYC). As a professional actress, Tracy has recently played the title role in the all-female production of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar at Tennessee Shakespeare Company. Other credits included Sarah Daniels in Spinning Into Butter by Rebecca Gilman at The Penobscot Theatre Company (Bangor, ME); Olivia in Twelfth Night at Tulsa Shakespeare Company; various roles in Almost, Maine at Chester Theatre Company (Chester, MA); Tekla in Strindberg's The Creditors with the Miscreant Theatre Company (NYC); and Viola in Twelfth Night with Improbable Fiction Theatre Company (NYC). She lives in NYC with her partner, Kent Burnham and their two cats. |
